Violets make magic!
Perhaps you have heard about violets (genus of flowering plants) that grow in
varied spans of time and as such they can be classified as perennial plants,
annual plants and shrubs. Used as floral decorative during weddings or
birthdays or other eventful occasions, they are edible enough to adorn a salad
dish or fish or poultry. Desserts could have violets to flavor and to produce
sweetness by all means. Other than culinary usages, violets can be source of
scents for perfume production since they have some kind of seductive scent
similar to any other plants. These violets can even be made as shampoo for dark
effect on hair after use. As an alternative, violets juice is combined with
lemon and a little amount of sugar for taste; however, its taste is distinctive
with pure hot water only.
On the other hand, one
thing that I love about sweet violets (Viola odorata, Viola tricolor and Viola
yeozonsis) is to boil them for my evening juice. How do I make the mixture?
Well, I pour boiling water into a glass with dried violets. I let it stay for 5
to 7 minutes before straining and drinking it.
The tea from violets is an alternative medicine for breast cancer, sinusitis, congestion, fever, allergies and stress. It detoxifies your body system, thus making your skin glow. A cup of violets’ tea is enough for a day. Excessive intake can cause vomiting which is of course true to any “non-controlled cases”.
